Jimi Hendrix, a name that cannot escape the fiery image of guitar heroism that will inspire listeners until the end of this world. When he burst onto the scene in 1967, he literally rewrote the rules of electric guitar playing. At the same time, the young Slovenian guitarist Pavel Kavec took a similar path and his love affair with this musical genre became a lifelong passion. Already in 1967 Pavel founded the first percussion trio, which, after numerous line-up changes, In 1972 it was renamed Oko. He has delighted and enchanted listeners across the country with his covers of Hendrix originals, other rock classics, and his own music. In the company of drummer Marko Bertoncelj and bassist Bojan Vojnovič, Pavel Kavec and Oko still powerfully and effectively combine the feelings and energy of the legendary band Jimi Hendrix Experience.
