Californian punk rockers Pennywise are coming to Maribor. They started operating at the end of the eighties, and were named after the monstrous clown from Stephen King's novel. During their long career, they have stringed together hits such as: Peaceful Day, Same old story, Fight Till you die and many others. The period between albums was strongly marked by the death of bassist Jason Thirsk, to whom one of the most recognizable songs of the band Pennywise Bro Hym is dedicated. On the nine studio albums they released over two decades, they maintained their recognizable raw-burning style within the punk framework.
