The performance Evergreen is the author's work of Karmina Šilec, who through musical metacomposition explores why music is so primarily necessary for society. The performance will be staged on October 6, 2016 at SNG Opera and Ballet Ljubljana. Tickets are already on sale.
Music and theater work Evergreen will premiere to the audience October 6, 2016 in SNG Opera and Ballet Ljubljana. Work from under the pen Karmine Šilec reworks the basic question of music – why music is so essential to people and whence her strength.
In the story of Orpheus it is soul-saving music from the Greek mythological underworld, on Titanic musicians they comfort the victims of the impending doom with beautiful melodies. Music has the power to momentarily defies death, comfort and keeps hope alive. Evergreen show v tragic music-theatre performances is looking for the cause of the miraculous power of music.

Aco Bišćević, Jože Vidic, Robert Vrčon, Matej Vovk, Peter Martinčič, Urška Arlič Gololočič, Mirjam Kalin and others will perform in singing roles. The orchestra will conduct Marko Hribernik. There are tickets already available.
