The first Slovenian performance of the comedy about simmering passions, Fools from Valencia, is coming.
Comedy Fools from Valencia belongs to the early Spanish Baroque period by Lope de Vega. This comedy is a pioneering introduction to European themes the theme of madness, and above all the psychiatric hospital itself, which Valencia recognized as one of the first in Europe. The author places love close to madness, which - if it's real - is also crazy, but it represents everything an inexhaustible source of comedy.
In the story, Florian and Erifila find themselves in an insane asylum, where they fall madly in love. Florian fears revenge for killing his love rival, the Spanish prince. Erifila, however, could not get enough of her commanding father, so she ran away from home. Florian hides in the hospital under the pretext of insanity, while Erifila is considered insane by others.
The first Slovenian performance she staged comedies about simmering passions in a brightly colored and unusual asylum Croatian director Nenni Delmestre.
