Trio is a musical comedy, which was already a huge success when it was first performed on November 13 at the Koper Theatre. Gašper Tič's comedy about three sisters (actually played by three well-known Slovenian actors), who perform under the name Trio Pupe, will be shown on December 16.
Pupa Trio consists of three sisters – Donatella (Uroš Smolej), Fiorella (Daniel Dan Malalan) and Marija (Rok Matek), who, in addition to a common father (they have two different mothers - sisters), share a common love for pop songs from the 1950s. The story we follow on stage takes us to the time of preparation for their concert, which seems like it could be their last, as the anticipation of the outcome of their father's will has brought out the worst in all three sisters. The temperamental Primorsans compete with each other in the venom of their tongues and in which one will hurt the other more.

Rhyming and dialect-tinged dialogues and songs, whose texts he wrote Gasper Tič, combined with an excellent cast and Davor Herceg's original music, are really the key to a great comedy, perfect for relaxed December evenings. The Koper Theater is also aware of this, which is why the musical comedy Trio, directed by Jake Ivanec, will be shown this year December 16.
