The charity fundraiser for defibrillators continues

Arboretum Volčji Potok will be held on Thursday, September 2 at 6 p.m the scene of the noble and excellent. After the June concert of the Slovenian Philharmonic, this time they will perform with the aim of collecting funds for defibrillators for the Association of Slovenian Professional Firefighters Choir of Deorin and Deorina Band and vocal ecstasy Perpetuum Jazzile. They will be the first to perform a mix of the world's most famous musicals, such as Mamma Mia!, Nunes sing, My songs, my dreams, Evita and Chicago, and Perpetuum Jazzile will certainly conjure up the highlight of the evening with its repertoire, including the world-famous cover of the song Africa . To top it all off, the organizers Arboretum Volčji Potok and the company Netvizija promise a ballet surprise, and the evening's connections have been entrusted to the ambassadors of the campaign Bernardi Žarn and Juret Seško. He supports the action as an honorary patron President of the Republic of Slovenia Danilo Türk.

The large charity campaign began on April 13 with the ceremonial awarding of awards on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Association of Slovenian Professional Firefighters. Two months after that, we witnessed a spectacular concert by the Slovenian Philharmonic with guest Tony Cetinski. On Thursday, September 2 at 6 p.m., the second in the series of charity concerts under the collective name Concerts in the Volčji Potok Arboretum will take place.

Why defibrillators?

In Slovenia, an average of 2,000 people die annually from cardiac arrest, of which a tenth are involved in traffic accidents. Firefighters are often the first at the scene of an accident, who could save many lives with the help of a defibrillator. This is the main and only reason why Slovenian professional firefighters want to equip their vehicles with defibrillators. By raising funds for defibrillators, we may save our lives or the lives of our loved ones.
