Why defibrillators?
In Slovenia, an average of 2,000 people die annually from cardiac arrest, of which a tenth are involved in traffic accidents. Firefighters are often the first at the scene of an accident, who could save many lives with the help of a defibrillator. This is the main and only reason why Slovenian professional firefighters want to equip their vehicles with defibrillators. By raising funds for defibrillators, we may save our lives or the lives of our loved ones.
