A completely new station wagon has entered the compact station wagon market PEUGEOT 308 SW. It is a car of special style and an aerodynamically perfect station wagon with a drag coefficient of 0.277, which has a positive effect on both fuel consumption and total CO2 emissions.
It boasts of expressive style, which is highlighted by an elegant profile and a sophisticated rear. With the new logo on the front mask, made in Slovenia, it confirms its personality and character. The light signature is designed with distinctively designed LED daytime running lights, and with higher equipment levels, it also comes with matrix headlights as standard, which are even more efficient and ensure more safety in everyday use. Efficient and extremely modern, the vehicle maintains the key and expected features that customers are looking for in the compact station wagon segment. It brings completely new experiences with more ergonomics, even greater driving pleasure, excellent quality and connectivity, and communicates in Slovenian.
The new Peugeot 308 SW follows the basic model, which is why it is also the embodiment of modern ergonomics and modern interior design. It is distinguished by the already known genuine Peugeot i-Cockpit, which is upgraded with each new generation, and a completely new multimedia system and Peugeot i-Connect are also available. The steering wheel has unique dimensions and a unique shape. The new Peugeot 308 SW has the latest generation of driving assistance systems, which introduce semi-autonomous driving and achieve an even higher level of safety with the Drive Assist 2.0 package (available at the end of the year). It consists of an adjustable cruise control with Stop & Go function (EAT8 automatic transmission) and a lane keeping system, and there are also three new functions for driving in separated lanes – semi-automatic lane change, forward speed recommendation and cornering speed adjustment.

Underneath is a radar meter that feeds information to the processors of a rich arsenal of driving assistance systems.In addition to its appeal, the new PEUGEOT 308 SW also offers spaciousness for passengers, thanks to a length of 4.64 m (+6 cm) and a wheelbase of 2.73 m (55 mm longer than the sedan), which provides 129 mm of legroom and maximum volume trunk.
Since with station wagons basically everything starts and ends with the trunk space, the PEUGEOT 308 SW does not disappoint in this regard and fully meets the expectations of customers, as it offers from 608 to 1,634 liters of usable space and is available with two-level floors (internal combustion engines) for practical use and modularity. The figures for the hybrid version also amount to an encouraging 548 to 1,574 liters.
The new Peugeot 308 SW is available with several engine types: to two hybrid (Hybrid 225 with e-EAT8 electric 8-speed automatic transmission, Hybrid 180 with e-EAT8 electric 8-speed automatic transmission), three gasoline and two diesel ones engines. A fully electric version will be available next year and will nicely round off the overall offer, which Peugeot calls "the power of choice".
