It was in 2006 when a National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore - instead of photographing animals in the wild, which he usually does - set out to create some formal portraits of animals living in captivity. The project came out of these beginnings Photo Ark, which is the result of collaboration between Sartore and the association National Geographic Society. A photographer who lives in Lincoln, Nebraska, travels the world and portraits animals. He plans to depict as many members of animal species living in captivity as possible. Why? Because it may happen that some of them will disappear forever. The fruits of Sartore's work are priceless and simply breathtaking.

The exhibition will be on display between October 18, 2018 and January 13, 2019, entry to the exhibition is free.
