Every year, the Pirelli calendar delights many fans of supermodels such as Cindy Crawford, Adriana Lima, Gisele Bundchen, Kate Moss and Isabeli Fontana. Next year, thanks to acclaimed photographer Annie Liebovitz, the sexiest calendar in the world will get a completely new look, as instead of provocative photos taken in exotic locations, it will show classic portraits of the most influential women from various fields.
Last year's The Pirelli Calendar was, like every year before, full of photos beautiful supermodels in seductive poses – Pirelli's year 2015 was marked by latex clad beauties Carolyn Murphy, Gigi Hadid, Joan Smalls and Candice Huffine, masterfully captured by Steven Meisel. And now Annie Liebovitz predicts for 2016 a whole new era, as she will include in it just one supermodel, namely the Pirelli veteran Natalia Vodianova, who will be joined by influential women from various fields, including Amy Schumer, Serena Williams, Tavi Gevinson and Patti Smith.
