Those of us who have walked past the Nama department store many times have probably noticed a new window display that attracts attention not only because of its vibrant colors, but above all because of the fact that the colorful space does not just represent a new collection. It is not exactly the most common practice for a major department store to be woven into the creation and presentation of a certain stage production, but it points to the uniqueness of the work, in this case a comedy entitled Mesto na ex. It is a performance that combines all the elements necessary for success: laughter, fun, prestige, tension, aesthetics, ... The story is about two engaged couples, Alenka and Bubi, who celebrate their last days off before their wedding in different, but neighboring bars that have the same owner. Due to the resulting recession, the owner has combined both bars under one roof. The parties, which are supposed to remain an eternal secret between the future spouses, are thus separated only by a swinging door and the waiter's concentration. With each ex, the company gets louder, the waiter's concentration decreases, the tension increases and the secret gets closer to being revealed. The performance contains all the elements of an unforgettable bachelorette party: juicy debates, lots of singing, dancing, laughter and striptease in the aforementioned circumstances, which will make us want to be at such a party. This desire will be further enhanced by the excellent cast, including Nina Ivanič, Alenka Tetičkovič, Maja Martina Merljak, Tina Uršič, Jernej Kuntner, Gregor Cesar and Miki Bubulj. The latter is also the author of the script and director. This time it is definitely not just a comedy - a musical, as the project will be carried out a little more prestigiously than we are used to. Before the start of the performance, we will watch a fashion show, where, in addition to the actors, models will present themselves in unique clothes and fashion accessories from participating fashion designers and some brands from the Nama department store. An exhibition of paintings by Anže Gallus Petelin will also be on display in the foyer of the Grand Hotel Union Hall in Ljubljana.
