A home office located in the garden allows the owner to completely separate free time from working time despite the small physical distance between work and home. Platform 5 architects quickly solved the problem and easily placed it in the garden.
Working from home can be a double-edged sword. Otherwise, it's great because we can work in our pajamas, but at the same time, it's harder to find work motivation. Platform 5 Architects solved the problem by positioning the prefabricated home office outside the house; to the garden. It was designed for a London family that needed a bit more space after the birth of a new family member. The rounded wooden structure is located at the end of a narrow and long garden and somewhat resembles a garden shed, but its contents are much more sophisticated. The office is just big enough for a desk, a chair and a few shelves, the glass walls and skylights provide enough light, and the wooden paneling makes it warm and cozy.
