The drama Vučjak is about a young intellectual Krešimir Horvat, which takes place in cold, hostile and frenzied Zagreb during the war. Therefore, he decides to retreat to the countryside in order to enjoy the more idyllic surroundings of a small town as a teacher A wolf. But his naive ideas about a new life turn out to be untrue already on the way there, as he is first robbed and then "moved". In Vučjak, Krešimir quickly becomes involved with Marijana, the wife of a former teacher, and Vučjak turns out to be even dirtier than the capital because of all the deceptions, lies and intrigues.
