The sales exhibition of young Slovenian designers, called Pop-up home, is being presented outside the borders of our homeland for the second time at the Vienna Design Week.
Sales exhibition Pop-up home took place for the first time in a renovated apartment next to Ljubljana's Kongresni trg in autumn 2012. The month-long shop, supported by creative cultural and culinary events, introduced the freshness of the presentation of products by local designers to the Slovenian space, and the concept came to life. A year later, the creators of the Pop-up home moved to a more spacious location in the industrial Tobačna, and then they went on tour to Venice and spent the summer in Piran.
Currently traveling sales exhibition as part of the Vienna Design Week between 26.9. and on 5.10.2014 he is visiting Club of Slovenian students in Vienna. During this time, visitors can try on and buy more than forty different works of art, furniture, home accessories and fashion pieces on display.
The event will also be enriched with special events such as cocktail evening with Slovenian cuisine from the Repete restaurant, music by the author Mir and excellent visualizations by Mina Fine, and a closing brunch. It will also be possible to participate as part of the event light fixture manufacturing workshops with Tilno Sepič.
