In the next few days, a pop-up shop corner full of selected vintage clothes and unique accessories, which will enhance a fashionable look with their uniqueness and at the same time take you on a nostalgic trip, will charmingly flourish in the Central Station.
Valentina Jarc (Miss Vandelej) and Emma Bavcon (EB redesign) combined their creative summers in a double scoop of vintage cuteness and re-design treats. Everything until Saturday will thus serve second-hand coats, parkas, skirts, berets and even men's sweaters, as well as hand-designed chains and brooches created from forgotten objects.
Valentine has been creating for several years Miss Vandelej's blog like a kaleidoscope of iridescent notes about fashion, movies, the sweetness of life, mythological stories and of course vintage inspirations. And it was from the latter that the idea of an online boutique store was born unique pieces of clothing and fashion accessories of the past, which occasionally turns into a rich pop-up corner or a stand at vintage fairs. Collaborations with young photographers, models, make-up artists and designers give her additional impetus, so she also strives to create such shared fashion stories.
And it was one of these stories that led Valentino to Emma, who the passion of collecting tiny treasures leads from a young age. Interesting pieces found while rummaging through my grandmother's house and from wanderings around the world are later under the brand EB redesign started changing into lovely jewelry and fashion accessories. With a vision reusing vintage pieces in combination with textiles and at the same time by transforming their original purpose for example, it brings men's bow ties in the form of brooches and dining spoons hung on a chain. In this way, the useless becomes useful again, which imaginatively breathes fresh life. Her creations therefore through re-use thinking they offer an inspiring alternative to excessive consumerism.
The event in Central stations, bringing immense fashion originality with a personal touch, that is it smells like an exciting hunt for new favorite pieces, which simply cannot be missed.
To create enviable vintage styling we also offer inspiration from the streets of Ljubljana:
