Popjazziada, the a cappella music festival, will continue to delight fans of singing and beautiful music in 2016. As every year, the best Slovenian a cappella groups, including Bassless, 4 Given, Puschluschtae and Jazzva, will present themselves this year. It is a unique festival of its kind in Slovenia, which promotes a cappella culture among musicians and takes care of its development. Tickets are already on sale.
Popjazziada, festival a cappella music, which years 2007 organized for the first time by the vocal group Jazzva, celebrates its first anniversary in 2016 – 10 years of operation. In the first year, the festival program was spread over two evenings, and later the concerts were combined into all-night concert. The 10th Popjazziada will also celebrate its anniversary with moving the event to a bigger stage - they are moving from Anton's home to Kina Šiška hall.
Singing trend a cappella, group singing of the choir without musical accompaniment, is in Slovenia in exponential development. Both the quality and quantity of groups each year are increasing and accordingly, the Popjazziada festival is also expanding, where they will be held this year in addition to home groups also presented by some contractors from abroad. At Popjazziada you will be able to listen to a wide variety of genres, from pop to jazz – all unbuttoned, of course without musical accompaniment. The following groups will perform at this year's event: Bassless, 4Given, (pd) 4, Creatively, Puschluschtae, Sonus, Spritz for Five, Rosalie and Jazz. There are tickets already on sale.
