Porsche 911 Speedster Concept

Porsche's legacy of Speedster models is commendable as they are beautiful cars. Another member may join this successful and long-standing tradition, as the all-new 911 Speedster Concept with as much as 500 horsepower has been presented.

Porsche 911 Speedster Concept is based on the current model 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet, and they used something similar for him the formula, as in the design of previous Speedsters. Removed are the windshield and put it under more aggressive angle and got rid of rear seats, instead of which we now have two so-called 'lose'. Traditionally they are Speedsters without electronics for roof management. They only have the basics linen the roof, which does manually opens and closes. Unfortunately, it is not known whether it is the same with the latest concept, as Porsche did not provide this information.

The designers got rid of it traditional mirrors from the 911 model and installed them instead chrome plated in retro style. The color is also very retro and reminiscent of the bygone days when Speedsters were on the climax mine fame. It is, of course, about white and GT silver color. You will find it on the pages number 70, which illustrates 70 years of Porsche's existence. The change also touched headlights, which have been given a kind of cover which also relates to design from of the past. Inside we will find sports bucket seats, but since it is a real Speedster, in it no will be navigation system, air conditioning and radio.

Under the hood of the Speedster is placed a boxer 6-cylinder, which rotates to 9.000 plants in a minute and has 500 of horses powers. The other parts of the chassis belong to the current one Porsche 911 GT3. Porsche envisions the Speedster as conceptual car, and its serial production it is not on aspect. But still, the concept Speedster is too cool to just languish in a museum in Zuffenhausen.
