The first self-service POŠTA 24/7 on Slovenska cesta in Ljubljana

After Pošta Slovenije set up a network of 24 parcel machines in major cities across Slovenia in the first half of this year and enabled users of its services to submit parcels via the PS Send a parcel online application, it opened the first 24/7 self-service POST OFFICE in Ljubljana, where you can complete some postal, banking and other services every day of the week, 24 hours a day.

Services provided by the self-service post office

The first self-service POST OFFICE 24/7 you find in the premises of the post office 1101 Ljubljana at Slovenska cesta 32, in which there is a payment machine, two ATMs, a vending machine for purchasing envelopes, stationery and postage stamps, a vending machine of the mobile operator Telemach and an info screen, you can buy goods, pay UPN forms, withdraw cash and perform other banking services at NKBM ATMs.

At the opening, a multi-awarded young writer signed her books in the renovated sales area of the post office Desa Muck. With this, they announced the promotion of Slovenian writers at other post offices in Slovenia as well.

Self-service POŠTA 24/7 is only one form of the offer that Pošta Slovenije wants to provide to its users in the future and to enable them to have greater access to its services. Thus, among other things, it expands accessibility via the Internet, equips postmen with mobile devices, with the help of which customers will be able to perform more and more services at the postman, and the like.

"The self-service POŠTA 24/7, like the network of 24 parcel machines already established this year and the modern technological equipment of our letter carriers, represents a new milestone in the development and operation of Pošta Slovenije as the post office of the future. They allow users freedom in choosing the time and place of service performance. And since we will increasingly combine the existing classic network with various innovations, we will be available to customers in more and more forms and through various media," emphasized the Deputy Director General of Pošta Slovenije at the opening of the first modern post office M.Sc. Andrej Richter.

In the future, there will also be a self-service zone inside the larger post office

In the coming year, Pošta Slovenije will upgrade its offer with you a self-service zone inside a larger post office and the first external self-service PS Točka 24/7, where it will be possible to perform postal and banking services and buy goods.
