The story of miracles, intertwined destinies and the eternal struggle between good and evil takes place in the middle of the mythical New York and unfolds over a century.
Peter Lake is a misfit who tries to rob a manor house one winter night New York's Upper West Side. At first he thinks the house is empty, then his daughter surprises him and invites him to tea. Pleasant atmosphere over a cup of tea leads to an interesting conversation between Peter, an Irish robber and Beverly Penn, a young and rich heiress. An unusual affection develops between them, which grows into love. But Beverly is dying and when he realizes that she has the power of reincarnation, Peter decides to save her.
Winter fairytale, which will hit the big screens around the world in mid-February, the day before Valentine's Day, is the directorial debut of the Oscar-winning screenwriter Akiva Goldsman, which is based on the acclaimed novel Mark Helprin also wrote the screenplay.
