A new skyscraper designed by Porsche Design and Dezer Development has begun to rise in Miami. The special feature of this 60-story building will be three elevators that will bring the steel horse right to the living room.
Porsche Design Tower will be located in the seaside district of Miami Sunny Isles Beach, and with its circular shape will measure 198 meters in height. The apartments will have two to four garages, which will be visible from the living room through a glass wall. Before the elevator brings the car to the garage, hotel employees will wash it and provide regular service if necessary. Homes will include double-height living spaces with spectacular ocean views, plunge pools, outdoor kitchens and expansive balconies. The rest of the offer in the tower will be a spa center, a cinema, a casino and an open party hall. Home prices range from $4.8 million to $32.5 million.
22 billionaires are said to have already bought their unit and according to the executive director of Porsche Design Jurgen Gessler: "The level of superior quality and groundbreaking ingenuity is synonymous with Porsche Design's iconic style and buyers understand the unparalleled value of these properties". Construction began in April 2013, and the first residents are expected to move in at the beginning of 2016.
