Consumers expect more and more from mobile technology: more responsive digital internals, high-resolution built-in cameras, better and higher-quality screens... The Finnish company Circular Devices Oy, which assembled the PuzzlePhone, responded to consumer criticism. This eco phone can be customized by the user himself, and at the same time it will be quickly repairable and upgradeable.
Circular Devices designs a mobile phone PuzzlePhone, which the user will be able to customized already in the core itself: those of us with a more sporty lifestyle will be able to add sensors to track our lifestyle, users for whom the phone is a second computer will be able to add even more RAM, photo enthusiasts will be able to install a better and larger camera in their phone.
The sliding modular components will be separated into three areas according to what kind of repair they will require, what kind of open-source customization and what kind of upgrade options there are:
- Spine phones are like that the core of PuzzlePhone, LCD screen with basic controls, speakers and microphone.
- Heart there is a phone battery and "secondary electronics".
- The brain but there are telephones major upgradable components, including the camera.

What will be the battle between virtually one phone that could theoretically last a lifetime and a thousand and one consumable mobile versions, we consumers will have to wait by mid-2015, when PuzzlePhone will enter the market.
