You will find the Pyramidenkogel or Jedvovac observation tower near Klagenfurt, just half an hour from our border with Austria. It is the highest wooden observation tower in the world, from where you will have a truly fantastic view of the lakes and mountains!
Lookout tower Pyramidenkogel, which is located at 851 meters above sea level, on the top of Jedvovca, rises 100 meters into the sky, and you will have to climb it by 441 stairs. If the thought of it gives you chills, don't worry, there is also a panoramic elevator.
The trademark of Austrian Carinthia offers a spectacular view of Lake Vrb and mountains with kar three viewing platforms, as well as from Sky Box, a 360-degree glass platform with a restaurant protected from wind and weather from all sides. From a height of 52 meters, you can also descend to solid ground with a slide, along which you will rush at a speed of up to 25 km/h, and the descent itself will take about 20 seconds.
In the main building of the tower, there are two more on the ground floor restaurant with local and international cuisine and a gift shop. In the outer area a large playground invites the little ones to have fun. This is equipped with a climbing structure with a slide and several swings and a play area in which a tunnel system is hidden. At the end of the terrace there is a place for the youngest playhouse.
The ticket for the Pyramidenkogel observation tower is 14 euros, if you want to go down the slide you will have to add 4 euros.
