In its ten years of operation, the 4saxess quartet has formed into an important chamber ensemble in the Slovenian musical circle, and at the same time it has also performed numerous guest performances in neighboring countries, such as Croatia, Italy, Austria and France. The diversity of education of the members of the quartet gives the group a broad musical outlook and a wealth of expressiveness.
Namely, they graduated in Ljubljana, Zagreb and Frankfurt, and continued their training in Paris, Bordeaux and Boston. It is this diversity that influences the subtle mutual coordination of artists aiming for a unique musical expression. The 4saxess quartet has faced this challenge again and again on the common path of sound search through different musical genres. The result is successful guest concerts at classical and modern music festivals, where, in addition to their own interpretations of compositions by Mozart, Bach and Debussy, they also performed works by leading Slovenian and Croatian composers.
