Christmas and New Year holidays are full of joy and pleasure, at least for people. Pets find themselves in a completely opposite situation, which we frighten every time with the use of fireworks and other pyrotechnics. At Ford, they found a solution, namely the Quiet Kennel, a noise-reducing dog kennel.
Ford is indeed known to the general public as car manufacturer, which does not mean that he is not active in other areas as well. This time he decided that s by patenting a unique dog ute it helps man's best friend.
Ford Europe it is active sound control technology transferred from their cars to the doghouse Quiet Kennel. With the help of microphones distributed throughout the cabin, the system detects unwanted sounds from the surroundings. The latter then cancel out with opposing sound waves.
The frame of the ute consists of multiple layers of materials that effectively dampen noise. The outer layer is made of a sound-proof vent that surrounds a sound-insulating panel. The inner layer connects the speakers with active sound cancellation technology.
The innovative uta is still there for the time being prototype. Dogs will therefore have to wait at least another year for quieter holidays. So that we avoid pyrotechnics, and we can help them already this year.
