Ranger Rover has been with us for 48 years, and in that time Land Rover has introduced only three basic models, namely the original, the Range Rover Evoque and the Range Rover Sport. Now the legendary series got a youngster. The Velar falls between the latter two. Its main rivals on the market will be the Porsche Macan im BMW X6.

The engine range includes five engines. He is the weakest 2 liter V4 diesel with 178 hp. It is followed by a two-liter with 237 hp, the most powerful of which is supercharged 3-liter V6 engine with 296 hp, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds. If you are a fan of gasoline engines, you can choose between a 2-liter V4 turbo engine with 247 hp or 296 hp, but what you really want is 3-liter V6 with 375 hp, which pulls from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds. It transmits power to the wheels eight-speed ZF gearbox.
