Ingredients

    Ingredients for pancakes:
  • 4 large bananas
  • 1 cup flour, preferably whole wheat
  • milk
  • an egg
  • oil of choice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Ingredients for maple and peanut spread:
  • 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • powdered sugar for decoration

Directions

  1. First, cut the bananas in half lengthwise, then cut them into slices (you should get about 10 slices from each banana).
  2. Mix egg, milk and pancake flour in a bowl. Add cinnamon and vanilla extract.
  3. Add bananas and mix again.
  4. Grease the pan generously with oil and cook each pancake on medium heat for about 2 minutes on each side. Place on a plate.
  5. In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the peanut butter and maple syrup. Blend until the mixture is smooth.
  6. Heat the mixture in the microwave for about 10 seconds, then spread the mixture over the pancakes and decorate with sugar if desired. Bon Appetit!
