Recipe for hedgehogs (chocolate balls):

Ingredients for hedgehogs (chocolate balls):

  • 500 g Albert biscuits (or similar)
  • 50 g of coconut flour
  • 70 g chocolate powder
  • 200 g of edible chocolate
  • 40 g of powdered sugar
  • 4 dl made cocoa
  • 1 dl of rum
  • 1 dl of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of chocolate powder
  • chocolate chips or coconut for sprinkling

The process of preparing urchins:
First, grind the biscuits into powder and add chocolate powder, coconut and sugar to them and mix everything well. Add rum and mix thoroughly again. Then add a cup of warm cocoa to the mass and mix until you get a homogeneous moist mass that sticks to your hands. Make large balls out of it as desired. In a separate bowl, mix the broken or grated edible chocolate, chocolate powder and milk and heat to melt the ingredients (can also be heated in the microwave). Then just dip the chocolate balls in the melted chocolate and roll them in crumbs (or coconut). Before eating, we recommend that you keep them in a closed container in the refrigerator for a while.
