Lemon tiramisu is a perfect dessert that enchants our guests with its delicate taste and soft structure. It is the perfect choice for a spring dessert, a romantic brunch or just like that.
Although lemon tiramisu is not exactly the easiest to prepare, our efforts will be rewarded with the first spoonful of a fantastic dessert that takes over with its divine taste and cute appearance.
Recipe for lemon tiramisu:
Ingridients:
- 4 tablespoons of white rum
- fresh juice of 2 lemons
- 5 tablespoons of powdered sugar
- a package of baby biscuits
- 500 g of mascarpone cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 500 ml of sweet whipped cream
- freshly grated rind of 1 lemon
- fresh strawberries (for decoration)
Preparation:
Mix the lemon juice and rum in a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar and stir until dissolved. If desired, you can add a few spoons of water. Let's put it aside. Beat the egg whites until stiff. We do the same with the sweet cream. Pour the remaining sugar, mascarpone cheese, egg yolks and lemon zest into a bowl and mix well. Then carefully mix the cream and egg whites into the mixture. Dip the baby biscuits in the mixture with lemon juice and cover the serving glasses or glass containers with half of them. Pour half of the cream mixture over the cookies and continue with another layer of soaked cookies. Finish with a layer of cream and place in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours. Sprinkle the chilled lemon tiramisu with fresh strawberries and enjoy.
