Homemade grape jam it is an easy spread that requires some patience, and below we present you a version with the addition of wine.
Recipe for homemade grape jam:
Ingredients for homemade grape jam:
- 900 g of red grapes
- 800 g of sugar
- 2.4 dcl of Pinot Noir
The process of making homemade grape jam:
Wash the grapes and remove the stems. Place a pot with a thick bottom on the stove, put the grapes in it and pour in the wine. Cook on medium heat for approx. 15 minutes. After this time, add sugar and slightly increase the power of the fire, but only so much that the jam boils slightly. Stir occasionally and cook until the jam thickens (check the thickness by putting a drop of jam on a chilled plate, wait three minutes, and if it wrinkles when you push it with your finger, it's done). While still hot, pour the marmalade into jars for pickling, which we previously washed well and left in the oven at 80 degrees Celsius for a quarter of an hour. Close tightly and turn the jars upside down for 10 minutes. Turn the jar so that the cap is up again. Allow the jam to cool slowly. Have a good run!
