- 1 liter of milk
- 100 g of sugar
- 100 g of corn starch
- 1 bag of vanilla sugar
- 125 g of butter
- 500 sweet whipping cream
- 200 g of chocolate
- a few drops of rum
The process of making monte cake:
Arrange the biscuits on the bottom of the baking tray and brush them with some milk mixed with rum. Then start preparing the first cream, for which you need milk, sugar, starch, vanilla sugar and butter. Heat the milk in a bowl and add a few drops of rum. In another, mix sugar and cornstarch into some cold milk to make a smooth mixture. You pour this into another container when the milk boils there. Cook on low heat for two minutes, then add the butter. Pour the hot mixture over the biscuits. Next comes the preparation of the second cream, for which you use sweet cream and chocolate. Heat the cream over moderate heat and stir in the chocolate pieces. When it melts, pour the mixture over the first cream and let the cake cool. Have a good run!
