There are many reasons why we love fall, and one of them is enjoying the best seasonal foods. We love apples, pears and plums with crunchy dough in all sweet combinations, and when the first roasted chestnuts smell on the streets, then we know that autumn has really arrived.
Another food, without which we cannot imagine the autumn season pumpkin. October is marked by the color orange, and everywhere we turn, pumpkins surround us, both in decoration and in food. Pumpkin is easy to combine in everything from soup to dessert, but we especially love it in our favorite fall drink. It is, of course, about Pumpkin Spice Latte, i.e. coffee with the addition of nutmeg and the best autumn spices.

It is associated with sunny days and all the colors of autumn, and the smell of spices reminds us of the warmth of home. The flavor combination, which includes coffee, pumpkin, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg, is really hard to resist, so it's hard to stop at just one cup.
Ingredients for Pumpkin Spice Latte:
- a cup of brewed coffee
- a cup of milk
- 3 tablespoons of pumpkin puree
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- half a teaspoon of mixed spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, cloves)
Preparation:
Pumpkin puree is made by cutting the pumpkin and cleaning it. Then put it in the oven at 200 degrees to soften. Remove the skin and blend the pumpkin flesh in a blender to make a thick puree.
Prepare the coffee as desired and divide the amount into cups. Heat the milk in a saucepan and add pumpkin puree, spices, brown sugar and vanilla extract. Stir vigorously until the mixture becomes frothy. Then pour in the coffee, if you wish, you can add whipped cream and additionally sprinkle with spices.
