- 4 bananas
- 50 g of butter
- 2 tablespoons of liquid honey
- a handful of walnut kernels
- a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon
- scoop of Greek yogurt/vanilla ice cream (optional)
The process of preparing baked banana with honey and walnuts:
To start, peel and cut the bananas in half. Melt the butter in a sufficiently large pan over high heat and place the halved bananas on it with the flat side. When they are baked (this takes about two minutes), turn them over and bake the other side. Then cover them with a teaspoon of honey and sprinkle with cinnamon. Pour the sauce from the pan over them on a plate, add the walnuts and use up the rest of the honey. If desired, a scoop of ice cream or healthier Greek yogurt can be added to the plate.
