Easter is approaching, so it's time to find recipes for a feast and compile list of ingredients, which you will need for cooking. Of course, the celebration is not authentic if it is not also on the table Easter ham in dough.
HOW TO PREPARE SIMPLE AND JUICY EASTER HAM IN DOUGH:
Ingredients for ham
- 55 g of brown sugar
- 60 g of mustard
- 680 g cooked wrapped ham (boneless)
- 1 package of puff pastry
- an egg
Ingredients for the sauce
- 240 ml of apple cider vinegar
- 80 ml of wine vinegar
- 110 g of honey
- 1 tablespoon of mustard
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
Preparation
Heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Mix brown sugar and mustard in a bowl. Cut lightly into the ham with a knife to create small cuts. Spread the sugar and mustard mixture over the ham (especially the cut parts). Bake the ham in the oven for 20 minutes.
Roll out the dough, remove the ham from the oven to room temperature and wait for it to cool. Wrap the ham in dough and coat it with egg. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
While the ham is baking, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat on the stovetop, cook the apple and wine vinegars, honey, mustard, and chili powder until the ingredients come to a boil. Lower the temperature and wait for a creamy sauce to form.
Slice the baked ham and serve with the sauce. Bon Appetit! 🙂
