Ingredients for strawberry mascarpone cheese pie:

  • 500 g of flour
  • 350 g of softened butter
  • 200 g of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1000 g of fresh strawberries
  • 100 g of sugar
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 250 g of mascarpone cheese
  • 100 g of cottage cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 100 g of powdered sugar

Instructions for making strawberry marscarpone pie:

Mix softened butter in a bowl, add sugar and egg and mix well. Add flour to the smooth mass and mix well again. Line the bottom of a round baking dish with the resulting dough and place everything in the freezer for an hour. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Take the dough out of the freezer and cover it with aluminum foil. Bake the coated one for about 10 minutes, then remove the aluminum foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Take the dough out of the oven and let it cool. Now put pieces of strawberries in a bowl and sprinkle them with half the sugar. We wait for them to release the juice. In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, cottage cheese, powdered sugar, ½ teaspoon of lemon juice and vanilla extract. Drain the strawberries and save their juice. Add ½ teaspoon of lemon juice to the juice and bring to a boil over moderate heat. Wait until the liquid turns into a syrup, set aside and let it cool. Spread the cheese mixture over the dough and sprinkle with fresh strawberries. Pour strawberry syrup over them and serve. Bon Appetit!
