We all sometimes want a dessert to spice up our lunch or dinner, but we are often stopped by a lack of time or ingredients. That is why we have prepared an easy and quick recipe for a delicious apple cake, which does not require an oven, a mixer or a lot of ingredients.

Apple cake, for which you only need one egg and a few basic ingredients, became a real hit on the Internet this year. Everyone likes something sweet, but not everyone is a fan of long-term baking or searching for a wide variety of ingredients. Also, don't worry if at home you don't have a mixer or you are not the most skilled using the oven – namely, to prepare this cake of these devices you don't need. This means that it is also suitable for complete kitchens beginners.

Ingredients for the filling:

  • 2 large apples
  • 30 g of butter
  • 30 g of sugar
  • cinnamon as desired

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 1 egg
  • 30 g of sugar
  • 8 g of vanilla sugar
  • 130 ml of milk
  • 40 ml of olive oil
  • 15 ml of vinegar
  • 140 grams of plain flour
  • 8 grams of baking powder

Preparation:

1. Peel the apples, wash them, cut them in half and remove the stones. Then cut them into slices.

2. Beat the eggs together with sugar and vanilla sugar. Mix well, then add milk, oil and vinegar. Finally, add the flour that you previously mixed with the baking powder. Mix everything together with a whisk until you get a smooth mixture.

3. Melt butter in a pan, add sugar and mix. Add the apples and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes. Stir in cinnamon if desired. Pour the prepared mixture over the apples so that they are completely covered. Cover the pan and bake for another 10 minutes.

4. Use a toothpick to check that the inside of the cake is dry and firm. If there is no wet residue on the toothpick, turn the cake over to the other side. The easiest way to do this is to cover it with a plate the same size as the pan and then turn it over with the pan. Then return the cake to the pan and bake it on low heat for another 5 minutes. Bon Appetit!
