Apple has recently refreshed the range of desktop iMacs, which remain visually identical, as they underwent the main change in the "innards". In practice, this means that they are now also available with the new generation of quad-core i5 and i7 Intel Core. They share a method of connecting external devices with their brother laptops, the Thunderbolt. The 21.5-incher houses an AMD Radeon HD 6750M graphics card, while the 27-incher houses a Radeon 6770M, each with 500MB of onboard GDDR5 memory.
