A Ljubljana band of proven musical names, ReLight, presents his debut Evermore (Alkemist, 2012). The album was produced at Studio Metelkova with producer Rok Podbevšek (Srečna mladina, Terrafolk), and its final sound was provided by Aco Razbornik in the renowned Ljubljana Tivoli Studio – the cradle of the most important products of the Yugoslav/Slovenian musical tradition.

Evermore celebrated in Old city power plantThe event will be accompanied by a special visual stage concept by contemporary artists of the younger generation Mete Grgurevič, Urša Vidic, Klemen Lazarevič and Jaša Mrevlje, and as special guests, the vocalist and frontman of the band ReLight will also join the stage. D-Day, Tomislav Jovanovic – TOKAC and Stringed instrument!

First there was music, with it came the word, and with the word the voice. In the grip of life's trials, chord by chord, feelings and emotions were expressed, merging into allegorical parables with all their ups and downs, and in the pursuit of a tradition of musical perfection, they united under the name ReLight.
The ReLight band is a five-member band of proven musical names who have gained their experience in numerous established music groups in our country (Zaklonišče prepeva, Same babe, Zlatko Kaučič KOMBO, etc.). The band, in a classic rocker line-up of two guitars, drums, bass and keyboards, has been operating since the fall of 2010, when the members came together with a simple goal – to create quality original music.
The band's musical roots are deeply rooted in the tradition of American folk, which they fuse with more modern rock approaches in a contemporary style. Regardless of the suddenness of musical trends, ReLight strives for authenticity and originality, far from the popular esoteric interpretation of the world and within the wheel of diverse musical traditions they seek the meaning of their own expression. To this end, ReLight's music can be non-classical, but never nostalgic! It is distinguished by striking, sometimes thoughtful and colorful harmonies, which in a charming play of sounds emphasize the authentic author's note and deepen the primary meaning of the music. Their stage performances, accompanied by a unique scenographic setting, are based on a mixture of raw emotions and musical perfection, the main purpose of which is to ignite a spark in the listener.
ReLight will release their debut album Evermore (Alkemist, 2012) in March, which features eleven original songs. The album was created with producer Rok Podbevšek (Srečna mladina, Terrafolk) at Studio Metelkova, and its final sound was provided by Aco Razbornik at the renowned Studio Tivoli in Ljubljana. Thematically, the album Evermore touches on the everyday states of the individual and his reflections on the metricized modern world, while also maintaining space for more intimate glimpses of darker experiences of artistic self-questioning.
