After ten years, guitarist John McLaughlin returns with his musical caravan. With his genius, he has been co-creating the history of jazz for decades.
In the 1970s, he founded a legendary group, completely absorbed by Indian music Shakti, which changed the perception of musical fusion.
In the second half of the seventies, the group recorded three albums and entered the annals of musical history. This time he will be joined on stage by legends Zakir Hussain on the Indian board, Shankar Mahadevan will provide the vocals, At Shrinivas will be on the mandolin and V Selvaganesh on the gatam. Shakti, meaning intelligence, beauty and strength, radiates all these virtues in her music. As many as four decades have passed since the founding of the group, and they celebrated the anniversary with performances across India. They made their way by touring Europe and will also stop by our place. It's been a decade since their last visit and many still talk about this concert as the best concert they've ever been to. This time we have to check for ourselves what the boys are preparing for us.
