The Chilean design and architecture studio gt2P (Great Things to People) presented the Remolten N°1: Revolution Series collection, a collection of stools made of pure volcanic rock
Remolten N°1: Revolution Series is a series stools made from real magma. gt2P is accumulated volcanic rocks first crushed, then melted and finally shaped into the desired shape. They make three different chairs namely the model Trapelco, which is smooth, Manucho, which is steep and Quintralco, which is grave.

The chairs were created for a New York art gallery Friedman Benda, and they are made of feather-light igneous rock called basaltic andesite found on active Chilean volcanoes (Chile is a true land of volcanoes, as this South American country is surrounded by them 2000). Beneath the magmatic mantle is a mold made of an insoluble mixture aluminum powder, graphite and clay treated at 1300 degrees Celsius.
