Toxic people are masters of manipulation. So pay attention to them if you have them in your vicinity and if possible, step away as soon as possible!
Of course you do they will never give the apology you deserve. Toxic people apologize only to manipulate you and make you believe that they truly deserve your forgiveness. They will never just say "I'm sorry." and the rest at that. They will always continue with other excuses and try to blame defer to someone else. This is because because they are not mature enough to accept responsibility for their actions.
And if you have the courage to face them, to let them know that they won't pull your nose, will turn the situation upside down. They will list all the nice things they have ever done for you and you marked as ungrateful. They will mention to you that you are not perfect either and that you have never been blamed for it. They will try to confuse you, to make you feel guilty, even though they are the ones who cooked it all up.
Toxic people they will not admit they are wrong. They will never reflect on their choices and realize that they need to change. It doesn't matter what you want to do about it, it doesn't matter how much you love them...you will never win with them. They will do their best to prove to you that they are "innocent". They'll make up some lies, they'll spread rumors, they'll twist the truth to fit their narrative... You can yell at them, you can curse at them, you can calmly present them with the facts - but it won't change anything. They have a talent for transforming reality. They create their own truth and try to force as many people as possible to believe that truth. In the end, you will be the one who is "crazy", you will be the one who does things wrong.
When dealing with a toxic person, it's best to yes we simply walk away, because we will never reach them alive. We will never get them to see the situation from our point of view. We will never make them admit that they have gone too far.
Toxic people don't think logically. They only think about themselves. And it's about time you put YOURSELF first!
