Imaginative artist Klemens Torggler has transferred the traditional art of creating paper sculptures to interior design. The special panel opening and closing thus truly brings evolution between the doors.
Sophisticated door movement with just a light touch. It is a system called "revolving panel door" (Drehplatten door, German), which in the style of a kinetic sculpture unfolds in the manner of origami into four triangular panels on one side and closes into aligned rectangles on the other side. In this case, the door is attached only at the top and bottom, which enables smooth turning. Balm for everyday tasks.
Austrian creator Klemens Torggler developed the concept for several years, playing with a wide variety of shapes and materials such as glass, wood and metals.
Right now they are "Evolution Door" just a prototype, while some of Torggler's earlier work is available on the website Artelier Contemporary.
