Who will play Zdravljica in Rio? We are less than a hundred days away from the start of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Slovenia travels there in numbers, but despite this, in the competition of more than 12 thousand athletes from over 200 countries, the Slovenian representatives cannot expect as rich a collection of medals as from the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi. Or is it? Infostrada Sports, a sports data crunching company, predicts three gold medals and one bronze medal. And who should win them?
How many medals will Slovenia win at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro? Slovenia will have quite a few sticks in the fire in Brazil, a statistical company Infostrada Sports however, he relies most on the canoeist on wild waters Benjamin Savšek, to the canoe duo Luka Božiča and Sašo Taljat and current European judo champion Tino Trstenjak (category up to 63 kilograms), which is predicted by listening to Zdravljica, i.e. the gold medal, and the bronze medal should be won by a judoka Ana Velenšek (category up to 78 kg). With four medals, we are 28th in the ranking.

A year ago, the forecasts were similar, but less golden. Savška won gold, Božič and Taljat silver, and Trstenjak and Velenška bronze.
Most of the coins, that's right 102 (of which 42 are gold), they should win USA, which follow them China with 78 (26 gold) and Russia with 66 medals (22 gold). Our western neighbor Italy can count on 23 medals (5 gold), Hungary to a total of 19 (also 5 gold), Croatia to nine (3 gold), Austria but only to two, of which one is gold. 2016 Summer Olympics will take place from 5 to 26 August 2016.
