German twins Anna and Lisa Hahner finished 81st and 82nd in the marathon and would probably have gone unnoticed if they hadn't crossed the finish line holding hands. Instead of the moment going down as one of the most moving of the Rio 2016 Olympics, the Germans became the target of criticism as the move was self-promotional, with the director of the German Athletics Federation, Thomas Kurschilgen, even saying that their performance looked like olympic match one big joke. What is your opinion?
Twins Anna and Lisa Hahne, who are at the OI Rio 2016 overshadowed the 30-year-olds with their arrival at the finish line Estonian triplets – these became the first triplets to compete in the marathon at the Olympics – and quite a bit better North Korean twins Hye-Song and Yhe-Gong Kim (they finished 10th and 11th in the marathon) by holding hands instead of sympathy attracted criticism.
The director of the German Athletics Federation was particularly harsh towards them Thomas Kurschilgen, who said that they took the run as a joke (they ran 15 minutes behind your best results) and that they only wanted to arouse media attention. At the same time, he added that victories and medals are not the only goal, but nevertheless every athlete should be motivated to at the Olympic Games he squeezes out his maximum and gives his best performance.
Their compatriots, who recognized the move, were no more merciful self promotion and said that such behavior is appropriate to the village match, but not at the Olympics.

And how did the sisters respond to criticism? "81st and 82nd places is certainly less than we expected. Are we satisfied? We didn't. Crossing the finish line but it was still one of our biggest sporting successes." And at the same time they added that they did not plan to arrive at the finish line together and that it was a coincidence.
They are the finish line one after the other also crossed by Hye-Song and Yhe-Gong Kim, but they did not attract either critics or far less media attention.
