As it turns out, the "rockabillys" also got their first Slovenian multi-day festival, called Rockin' Riviera Weekender. This will take place on the last weekend of August in the almost legendary rock bar Kanela on the beach in Portorož.
Festival Rockin' Riviera Weekender is intended for all who love original rock'n'roll music. Five music groups and DJs will perform in two days, and the program will be varied cabaret Miss Stacy. It is an international festival where German acts will perform The Booze Bombs, Italian The Same Old Shoes, Sicilian Dale Rocka & The Volcanoes, Vince and The Sun Boppers and Slovenian The Star Time Playboys.

This year's Rockin' Riviera Weekender will be special because of something else. All groups will present on it their new products. Dale Rocka & The Volcanoes and The Booze Bombs have already introduced themselves to the Slovenian audience, so for the first time Vince & The Sun Boppers, The Same Old Shoes and The Star Time Playboys will rock with their wild rhythms, who will present their debut album It's Star Time.
During the breaks, they will choose the music Slovenian DJs Martin 13, Greaseman, Mad Delinquent, DJ Cowboy and Valentine. Girls from Vixen Bomb Gang, who will take care of hairstyles and make-up.
It is more than obvious that it will happen this time the Slovenian coast honestly rocked to rock'n'roll rhythms.
