Swings are usually placed outside, in nature and made only for children's use. Industrial designers Lara Rivière and Tobias Nickerl saw the possibility of modernization and alternative use in the traditional children's toy - they gave the swing a refreshed look and invited it into the interior of our homes in a new role as a piece of furniture.
"Rocking Chair" is the ultimate tool for intergenerational fun, a playful combination of a children's swing and grandma's swing that gently rocks and playfully sways us. A minimalistic designed piece of furniture that speaks two languages - swing and rocker - consists of only the essentials - iron frame, leather seat and rope, without screws or unnecessary external elements. Light and mobile, the "Rocking Chair" is a piece of furniture characterized by clean lines and vibrant colors, a true nomad that gently rocks when we need it most.
