Every year, a "new batch" of high school students turns into college students. Parents usually buy some furniture for empty student rooms and thus turn the space into a more pleasant living area. Created by Our Paper Life, Room in a Box is a set of cardboard furniture pieces designed to cover all the basic needs of a student room. The entire room, which can be assembled in thirty minutes without tools or glue, is waterproof, durable, and can also be recycled.
Room in a Box contains basic furniture for the room, namely a chair, a table, a wastebasket, a bed frame and a chest of drawers with four drawers. If we already have a bed, the bed frame can be used as an additional chest of drawers with eight drawers, thus finding utility in any Room in a Box piece.
Unlike other low-cost furniture options, to assemble Room in a Box we don't need any tools or glue, to assemble cardboard pieces with each other - we just insert them into predetermined slots to achieve fully functional pieces. Of course, this also means that they can be disassembled and packed again with the same ease.
Each cardboard component is waterproof, so that even spilled beer, juice or other liquids do not affect the disintegration of the furniture too quickly.
