Roomoon is a tent from the British company The Hanging Tent Company, which pushes the boundaries of glamping (glamorous camping) to new heights - literally. In a hanging tent, you'll feel light not only because you're on a well-deserved break, but also because you'll be sleeping a few meters above the ground and (oh, romantically) closer to the stars. Its added advantage is that in the morning, for the first time in your life, you will be excited that you were carried by the moon during the night.
Hanging tent or Roomoon is a design achievement Rufus Martin, who designed this magical tent, which resembles a full moon high in the trees, as part of a school project. Today, the tent is part of a British company from Dorset The Hanging Tent Company available to enthusiastic "glampers" all over the world.
Each Roomoon is made specifically to order. Canvas, from which the hanging tent is made, is light but extremely durable. It's a strong frame from stainless steel, and the tent floor from light pine. The tent is easy to fold, and it is hung in the heights with the help of a specific system based on a simple pulley.
The basic price of the hanging tent, in which you will sleep closer to the stars, is 3.500 £, which is roughly the same 4.400 €, but you can order it here. Additionally, your tent can be upgraded with pillows, carpets, sleeping bags and even LED lights. Your vacation will truly be like in heaven.
