For the first time in Slovenia, we will be able to visit a truly large international convention of Japanese pop culture Sakuga Gaiden, which will take place on Saturday, June 20 at the Economic Exhibition Center in Ljubljana. Fans of the latest computer games, table top games, "cosplay" contests, singing contests, richly stocked stands, dance rehearsals, anime cartoons and their knowledge contests, comedy performances, and more will be able to get their money's worth. We will also be able to see and hear one of the biggest Japanese music pop groups, An Cafe (Antic Cafe).
Convention Sakuga Gaiden represents a big step into the future in the field Japanese contemporary pop culture and related content, which are extremely popular among young and old in Slovenia as well. With its offer, size and special contents, the convention thus stands alongside larger conventions of this type in Europe, and already at this moment it stands out for its innovation in the field of Eastern Europe, as it not only represents Japanese culture, but is also directly connected to its actors. This year's focal point is the performance of a musical pop group Antic Cafe, a Japanese Harajuku dance rock, visual kei band that has been active since 2003.

Of course, there will be no shortage of big ones at the Sakuga Gaiden convention Slovenian tournament in the League of Legends game, played by hundreds of millions of fans around the world, with rich prizes for the first places. It will also offer over 30 stands with presentation and sale of contemporary Japanese pop culture products (manga, games, products), including traditional ones, as well as other content that is extremely attractive to young people today. A special viewing room for Japanese anime cartoons will be prepared for visitors, we will be able to compete in various table top games and try out new computer games. A large presentation area will be available new games and technologies, a place for competitions and game testing. They will take place in the gallery space during the day various workshops of creative and expressive skills of Japanese traditional and modern culture, and there will also be an exhibition of a contemporary Slovenian author who portrays her characters in the Japanese style of anime cartoon characters. There will be various competitions in singing, dancing and knowledge: Sakuga Idol (singing competition in Japanese and Korean compositions), Anime quiz, dance workshops, Fashion show, an anime voice contest, and more. But we must not forget the competition in cosplay on the big stage, which will be attended by all of us who like to create and wear the clothes of our favorite heroes from anime cartoons, feature films, comics, computer games and more at home.
