The first generation Omnia promised a lot, but did not quite live up to expectations. Especially from the user's point of view. This time it was supposed to be different. The Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system that will initially power the new Omnia will be later upgradeable to version 6.5. Free, of course. The sophisticated TouchWiz 2.0 user interface will take care of easy use of the 3.7-inch AMOLED touch-sensitive screen. We will connect to the world in (at least) three ways: HSUPA 5.76Mbps, HSDPA 7.2Mbps or via a Wi-Fi access point. The internal memory (from 2GB to 16GB) can be upgraded up to 48 GB (microSD).
Price: not yet known, available at the end of the year.
