The continuation of one of Svetlana Makarovič's biggest hits - Sapramiška, which this time is looking for happiness.

Svetlana Makarovič, the leading Slovenian poet and writer of fairy tales for children, has written a number of poetry and prose works, and has also established herself with radio and puppet plays for children. In her works for children, she created her own style, as they feature animals with special names and well-thought-out characters. She herself says that she writes fairy tales not only for children, but also for adults who have retained their childhood but are not childish. Certainly one of her most recognizable works for children is Sapramiška. This year, the Mini Theater premiered a new play, Sapramišja šuša, which was based on the book of the same name by Svetlana Makarovič and is a continuation of the popular fairy tale about Sapramiška. Sapramiška, whom we all know well, is looking for happiness this time. When a blizzard collapses her house, she is convinced that she is unlucky in life. Desperate and angry, she chases away her friends who offer to help her. Only Regica does not let herself be driven away and confides in Sapramiška the old wisdom: "When you are most unhappy, remember that everyone is the maker of their own luck." So Sapramiška goes to the forge on the other side of the forest. The path is full of dangers and difficulties, but Sapramiška nevertheless reaches her destination safely. She forges all night in the forge, and the next day she goes home with the fortune she has forged. He no longer pays attention to problems, because he knows that he is lucky. A big surprise awaits her at home, because her friends have renovated her cottage. This is how Sapramiška realizes that true happiness is friendship, which must be forged and forged together. The story of Sapramišja šutka was visually presented by the tandem son:DA (Metka Golec and Miha Horvat), it was adapted and directed for the stage by Robert Waltl, the costumes are the work of Ana Savić Gecan, and the music, which includes seven new songs, was written by Mitja Vrhovnik Smrekar. The performance is suitable both for the youngest and slightly older children, who will recognize situations from the real world in the fairy tale, as well as for adults, who will be reminded of what is most important in life - friends and responsibility for one's own happiness.
