SaviOne robot: a hospitable hotel butler

The Savioke company is pleased to announce their new discovery – a welcoming assistant, the SaviOne robot. Starting August 20, anyone who wants to can see the robot in person at the Aloft Hotel in Cupertino, California.

If you will be a hotel guest in the next days or years Aloft Hotel in Cupertino, you will definitely not whiten your head with a forgotten toothbrush or phone charger - it will deliver everything to you SaviOne. Items that you, as guests, will request at the reception, the robot will also deliver them to you.

The robot is about a meter tall, weighs about 45 kg, has a capacity of two cubic meters and moves at the speed of a human walk. Able to travel independently between different floors and by elevator. HELLO, as the robot was named, arrive at the appropriate guest room, ring the bell for the guest or warns him with a sound of his arrival, deliver the goods and goes back to the reception. With help cameras on the robot, ALO knows when the guest opens the door. When the door opens, ALO unlocks, opens its lid and with help instructions on the screen prompts the guest to take out their goods and close the lid again.

In the company Savioke they expect ALO to be a delight for guests and believe that certain guests will come to the Aloft Hotel in Cupertino precisely because of it. They will also expand their program to Savioke at the beginning of next year to additional hotels, who will meet the conditions for ALO and want to "adopt" him. Interested parties can apply on the company's website Savioke.
